Cubro welcomes SmartGrowth Tour
On 7th November Cubro welcomed our regional city mayors and councillors as part of an organised tour by SmartGrowth.
Launched in 2004, SmartGrowth provides a unified vision, direction and voice for the future of the western Bay of Plenty. It sets the strategic vision and direction for growth, infrastructural planning and development across the sub-region, focusing on the key issues relating to social, environmental, economic and cultural planning.
SmartGrowth’s vision is “Western bay – a great place to live, learn, work and play”. Cubro was selected to be the example of ‘work’ in the Bay of Plenty because of the world class facility and culture we foster.
The group were given a guided tour through the purpose built showroom and office area before Jason Clare, Administration Manager delivered a presentation about the company, where we have come from, our mission and values, and where we see ourselves heading in the future. This was presented using the company blackboard as a backdrop, illustrated by Angela Croft, one of Cubro’s team members.
