Cubro Building Winner of Regional Architecture Award
We are so excited to have won in the Commercial Building section of the 2017 Waikato/Bay of Plenty Architecture Awards for our new head office in the Tauriko Business Estate, Tauranga. Accepted by Sharon Woodward on behalf of Cubro, Sharon shared how “one of our company values is innovation and this building really has reflected that.” Awards convenor, architect Steven Chambers commented that, “This building is a flagship for client, contractor and architect collaboration. It will age gracefully on its prominent site.”
Congratulations go to David Wingate of Wingate Architects for his amazing work in designing our beautiful building. It was a privilege to collaborate with him on this project.
As a winner in the regional awards, our building is now eligible for shortlisting in the New Zealand Architecture Awards, which will be announced in November this year.
The Waikato/Bay of Plenty Architecture Awards are part of the New Zealand Architecture Awards programme run by the New Zealand Institute of Architects. Through the awards, the NZIA aims to show why good architecture matters in the ongoing development of New Zealand’s cities, towns and communities.
