Mid Year News
It’s the middle of the year already. What a great time to reflect on what we have achieved so far this year and what we need to focus on for the rest of the year.
It will be no surprise to many reading this that the first half of our year has been greatly dominated by the move to our new purpose built Head Office at the Lakes Development, 5km away from the former head office in Greerton, Tauranga.
In January we were gearing up for the move. The Cubro warehouse, workshop, engineering and electrical teams were the first to move and, without a single hitch, were completely settled in by the end of January.
The second stage of the move included the leadership team, office and customer service team. This too was carefully planned and implemented, and without missing a beat we achieved our ambitious target of ‘all staff in place and working by 8.30am’ on the first day back after Anzac Day.
We pride ourself on our values of teamwork, integrity, compassion, family, innovation, giving and recognise that having a close knit team of people who are aligned with these values is the key to our success. Therefore, we put a great deal of emphasis on caring for our team.
In light of this, our new chef joined us mid June and is making full use of our state of the art, new kitchen and cafe area. Our whole team is now provided with a varied menu of world class, nutritious food options.
Our Head Office Official Opening was held on June 17th, attended by two invited Members of Parliament, Hon Simon Bridges MP for Tauranga and Todd Muller MP for Bay of Plenty and also a host of other people who have been closely involved in the development of our new facility.
We believe that we can enhance the lives of the aged and less able - it is our mission and we have been achieving it for the last 33 years. It is now time to focus on ways to continue our growth, to learn from our past and to look at our future role in the provision of healthcare solutions.
