International Nurses Day - 12 May 2016
International Nurses Day (IND) is celebrated around the world on 12 May of each year, to mark the contributions nurses make to society.
In January 1974, 12 May was chosen to celebrate the day as it is the anniversary of the birth of Florence Nightingale, who is widely considered the founder of modern nursing.
Cubro would like to acknowledge the many innovative, compassionate, high achieving and dedicated nurses in the New Zealand nursing workforce. So many of whom work diligently, way beyond the call of duty, to provide assistance to everyone in need.
