Cubro volunteers at Ronald McDonald House
Out of our six values that we uphold every day at Cubro, three of them were given a real workout during our participation in the Ronald McDonald House Volunteer Family Dinner Programme recently - they were Giving, Family and Compassion. Seven members from our team made the trip to Auckland to prepare and cook (and sing, thanks to a very talented member of our CSR team) for the families at Grafton Mews. The satisfaction from feeding these families, hearing their stories and seeing their smiles was well worth the trip. It is something that we will definitely be doing again.
Ronald McDonald House provides free accommodation and support to families from all over New Zealand whose children require specialist medical treatment at the National Children’s Hospital in Auckland.
