Koru Care Donation
Cubro was lucky enough to donate one of our wheelchairs to Koru Care New Zealand recently and learn a bit about what they actually do. For over 30 years, Koru Care New Zealand has been taking children from around the country away on a trip of a lifetime with the help of volunteers. In some cases these kids have cancer, kidney disease or heart problems, in other cases they have lost the use of their limbs or have serious congenital abnormalities. But they still have the capacity to smile, laugh and create good memories; they just need someone to wave the magic wand. Each trip is a huge undertaking.
Cubro would like to recognise Koru Care for the work they do in giving children a much deserved opportunity to put their everyday difficulties behind them and to be regular kids for a change.
