The Annual Hospice OT Yarn Bombing Challenge is back…this time it’s for everyone not just the crocheters.
As Hospice OT’s, we believe the work you do to provide opportunities for everyone to engage in occupational activities as part of their end-of-life care, is incredible!
To show our gratitude for all the work you do, in the lead up to OT week we’re running a nationwide campaign to celebrate and raise awareness about all the cool and creative activities you run in your hospice, and how valuable these are to those in your care.
For this campaign to be a success and help raise awareness of the incredible mahi you all do, we need you to share your latest creative projects with us.
It might be a yarn bomb installation, some other knitted or craft project, singing, baking or painting – whatever you’ve got going on or are planning to do in your hospice over the coming weeks – we want to hear about it!
This year the OT Week theme is ‘Opportunity + Choice = Justice’ and we encourage you and your teams, to craft your entries with this in mind.
To be part of this campaign, simply send us some photos of your creative masterpieces and an accompanying creators’ statement to [email protected] by Monday 31st October 2022.
Your statement can be short and sweet - just tell us what the activity is, who participated and what the benefits are for all those involved. Bonus points if you can get a quote from someone who participated.
