The Visiting Neurodevelopmental Therapy (VNT) service is committed to supporting infants and young children with developmental difficulties and their family to improve function, activity and participation by optimising developmental progress. The service provides holistic strength-based therapy, education and support in the home and community, in partnership with family/whānau/caregivers
This year's programme covers the full scope of neurodevelopmental practice from attachment and trauma-informed care in the neonatal unit, through to early mobility, spinal preservation, and postural care in lying and sleep. Sessions also explore cultural responsiveness, rights-based approaches to clinical care, and supporting neurodivergent family.
It's a focused two-day event for clinicians who want practical knowledge and the chance to connect with others in the field.
