Firstly, a heartfelt thank you to everyone who took the time to submit nominations for the Cubro Health Heroes Award. We were genuinely overwhelmed by the sheer volume of nominations. The stories shared were nothing short of inspiring, showcasing the remarkable individuals who go above and beyond in their roles. While we can only select a few winners, we want to express our gratitude to each nominator and nominee. The healthcare community's collective commitment to making a difference is truly commendable, and we are grateful for the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate your exceptional contributions. Eddie Haines - Health Care Assistant

Jess Menon nominated Eddie Haines, a Health Care Assistant at Switzer, as a true standout. Eddie's infectious positivity brings laughter to the lives of elders under his care. From playing their favourite music to volunteering for around-the-clock care, Eddie exemplifies the qualities of a Health Hero, even coming in on his days off to spend time with the residents.

Letitia Stick - Business Co-Owner

Rob Stick nominated Letitia Stick, a dedicated Business Co-Owner. Letitia's commitment to her customers goes beyond the ordinary. Recently, she coordinated the relocation of in-house equipment for customers, ensuring everything was correctly placed in their new home.

Sue Anderson - Nurse Practitioner

Elisabeth Browne nominated Sue Anderson, recognising her exceptional work as a Nurse Practitioner in the Acute Pain Management Service. Sue's commitment to continuity of care, leadership, and teaching sets her apart. Her personal care and empathy towards staff and patients make her a true Health Hero.

Keith Lucking - Occupational Therapist

Ailsa Lucking nominated Keith Lucking, an Occupational Therapist with over 20 years of experience. Keith's passion for his profession, dedication to providing the best care, and commitment to educating the new generation make him a true Health Hero.
