The fear of further falls is one of the most common psychological consequences, leading to limited physical activity, a loss of self-confidence and social isolation. With the Sentida range of ultra-low height aged care nursing beds, wi-bo (wissner-bosserhoff) has achieved an uncompromising implementation of the requirements of modern nursing care: Maximum safety hand in hand with a cosy design.

The innovative 4-stop strategy and the patented SafeFree side guard concept reduce falls, as well as the consequences associated with them and set new standards in terms of safety, mobility, height adjustability and cosiness.

An additional SafeSense® option is also available, for those who desire a sustainable fall prevention system. SafeSense is an intelligent bed sensor system that provides greater safety without the need for restraints. It is equipped with an individual alarm system as well as an automatic night light when the resident leaves the bed that is then deactivated when the resident is back in the bed. The individual alarm system is adjustable from 0 to 30 minutes. It is easily adaptable to resident's mobility including an early warning mode that means nursing staff can be called as soon as the resident falls out of bed.
