The Stabilo Comfortable Plus Duo cushion combines the features of the Stabilo Comfortable Plus cushion and the Stabilo Base cushion creating a self-supporting seat that provides stability and comfort. It can be used as a stand-alone seat or supplement the backrest and seat in a wheelchair, improving posture through the correct positioning of the pelvis, trunk, and head. It can be easily shaped, formed, and reformed to suit the client's needs as they grow or if their condition changes.
By forming a wedge at the front of the cushion and channels for neutral thigh positioning, it creates a bucket seat shape, this can increase stability and safety by preventing the body from slipping forward and encourages the client to actively engage maintenance of good posture. This is a perfect solution for people with high muscle tone and can reduce the risk of contractures.
